How much more glory could you bring to God’s name and what impact can you have if you were able to share the gospel to more people? Learning a foreign language gives you access to more people naturally as you can communicate with people that don’t speak your native language.

Being able to communicate with people that others can’t can open several doors of opportunities. For instance, you can help translate for people and help in missions that need people who speak that language. For instance, there may be a need in a Christian mission organization in your community for people who can translate French into English. If you speak French as well you can serve through this opportunity and do what you love!

Another reason to learn another language is to teach others! Many people need help or practice learning another language. If you know that language you can teach others that language. Being able to teach others provides you with even more opportunities to show the love of Christ and ultimately share the Gospel.
